RAYMOND J. STINE, ESQ.
Raymond J. Stine graduated from Ohio Northern University College of Law in 1989 and is admitted to the New Jersey State Bar and the United States District Court of New Jersey.
Mr. Stine served as Assistant Union County Prosecutor for eight years including an assignment with the Narcotics Strike Force, Interim Director of the Juvenile Division and Assistant Prosecutor in the Appellate and Trial Sections. Once in private practice, Mr. Stine has served as a municipal prosecutor in over twelve different municipalities in Somerset and Hunterdon County. Additionally, Mr. Stine defends clients in all areas of New Jersey, except Somerset County, where he continues to serve as prosecutor.
His work in Constitutional Law resulted in the publication of several judicial opinions regarding Fourth Amendment search and seizure.
Mr. Stine also had a long and successful career in private practice.
Since 2000, Mr. Stine has practiced in the capacities of both prosecutor and defense counsel in municipal courts throughout New Jersey. He has brought to trial hundreds of DWI, DUI and traffic tickets and has negotiated countless plea agreements on behalf of the State of New Jersey and individual clients. Mr. Stine has also represented individual clients with regard to expungements, disorderly persons offenses and municipal ordinance violations.
In addition to Mr. Stine’s has exceptional expertise in complex civil litigation with an emphasis on environmental and toxic tort litigation including Superfund sites, asbestos exposure matters and industrial manufacturing/chemical exposures in the workplace.
In 2008, Mr. Stine founded his own law office and began his estate planning practice focusing on trust and estate planning, elder law and guardianship.
He has lectured on the “The Patient’s Bill of Rights,” “Recognizing Elder Abuse,” and “Mechanisms for Planning and Dealing with Dementia.”
Mr. Stine holds an adjunct professor position with the paralegal program at Mercer County Community College teaching civil litigation, torts, and legal research and writing classes.
