William S. Frazier, Esq
William Frazier, Esq. is an attorney focusing his New Jersey practice on school law and advocacy with the Bercik Law Firm.
Mr. Frazier is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor degree. Prior to law school he attended Yale University where he completed his B.A. degree.
He received numerous scholarships and awards during his academic career including several merit-based scholarships for his undergraduate and legal studies. He is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
Since 2016 Mr. Frazier has represented numerous families across the New York City metropolitan region in all matters of school law, with a particular focus on the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) special education law.
Has has spent several years working on Special Education matters for the nations’ largest public education system, advising private specialized schools, and representing individuals and nonprofits organizations dedicated to improving the lives of those with special needs.
Mr. Frazier has experience working as an advocate at IEP meetings and advising families regarding their child’s special education rights in school-age and post-secondary education settings.
Mr. Frazier also has extensive experience negotiating meaningful settlements for his clients for additional support(s) and services.
As a litigator Mr. Frazier brings years of experience working with special education students to ensure the school district provides them with a Free Appropriate Public Education in the Least Restrictive Environment.
He has managed complex special education matters including: out-of-district placements, independent educational evaluations, unilateral placement/tuition reimbursement, pendency and compensatory education claims.
